Anxiety and panic attacks can be terrifying and dramatically
alter your life if not adequately controlled. Anxiety attacks frequently leave
people with such vivid memories of the initial episode that they become
permanently ingrained in their minds. You may be wondering if there is anything
you can do to stop anxiety attacks in their tracks if you suffer from them. You
can begin to control your panic attacks rather than allowing them to
effectively control you when you learn various methods for preventing them.
Even when there is no obvious danger or identifiable
trigger, panic attacks cause the victim to experience a sudden and intense
fear. Your body's emergency response system is then activated as a result of
this unfounded fear, and your physical fight-or-flight responses take over. As
a result, your body begins to fight for your life and reacts as if it is being
attacked.
